Burns Lake Community Forest (BLCF), one of BC’s largest community forests ($18M annual revenue), is seeking a Finance Manager/Controller to lead and strengthen our finance function. BLCF is a municipally owned community forest with significant benefits flowing to the Village and First Nations partners.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance. This is a new position offering the opportunity to build robust financial systems for a significant community-based organization.
Requirements:
- CPA designation (or CPA-in-progress). Candidates without a CPA designation but with significant directly relevant experience may be considered.
- 5+ years progressive financial management experience.
- Internal controls and audit experience.
We offer:
- Salary: $95,000 to $115,000.
- 35-hour work week.
- This is a permanent position with a six month probationary period.
