Public Review Notice
Notice is hereby given that Burns Lake Community Forest Ltd. will provide the opportunity for Public Review and Comment regarding Management Plan #4 for Long-Term Community Forest License K1A. The engagement of the proceedings commenced back in late 2017, with a draft provided for input in late 2018. This is the final draft and opportunity for input prior to submission to Ministry for review and approval. This plan and annual allowable cut (AAC) request incorporate the proceedings of the mountain pine beetle mitigation efforts BLCF began in early 2016 and all comments and consideration received to date from Public, and First Nations. The management plan proposes management objectives for each resource value and management activity and includes a proposed Annual Allowable Cut for K1A.
Arrangements may be made to view Management Plan #4 from November 6th, 2019 until December 6th, 2019 during regular working hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) at the following location:
