2025 Summer Student Opportunity
Burns Lake Community Forest Ltd. (BLCF) would like to offer a part-time summer position in Journalism. The ideal candidate is a high school student exploring an interest in pursuing a career in public relations/journalism or a student currently enrolled in such a program.
This position would entail all Public Communications on BLCF’s activities including press releases, community donations, and social media, and supporting Executive Assistant in office administration.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of mainstream social media platforms
- Work cooperatively as part of a team-based organization
- Valid Driver’s License with access to vehicle is an asset
