Timber Supply Review
The Burns Lake Community Forest has completed the advertising period for the Data Package. The 60-day review period will commence on October 20, 2010 for Long-Term Community Forest License K1A Management Plan #2. The previously advertised Data Package is included as an appendix to the Management Plan.

On February 25, 2011, Burns Lake Community Forest was awarded an annual allowable cut (AAC) of 260,000 cubic metres per year. This AAC is subject to a maximum of 52,000 cubic metres attributable to non-pine conifer, and is in effect until December 31, 2013 after which it shall be reduced to 100,000 cubic metres per year.
